This relaxation in the rule of 45% marks in intermediate has been given due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the report, candidates who have passed the intermediate examination will be eligible for TS EAMCET 2021 admission. However, candidates must secure a rank in the TS EAMCET 2021.
This decision comes as a relief for the students as intermediate exams were cancelled due to the pandemic and results were prepared on the basis of a normalization method.
This relaxation of 45% marks in intermediate will also be applicable to Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) intermediate students, the report added.
“In principle, it has been agreed upon that all students who passed intermediate and qualified in the TS EAMCET besides securing a rank will be eligible for admissions this year. The government will issue necessary orders in this regard,” officials said, according to the report.
TS EAMCET 2021 engineering exam was held on August 4, 5 and 6, while the agriculture exam was conducted on August 9 and 10. The authorities have released the provisional TS EAMCET answer key 2021 and candidates can raise objections against it till August 14 (tomorrow). The authorities will declare the TS EAMCET result 2021 on August 25. The counseling of TS EAMCET 2021 will commence from August 30.
TS EAMCET is an online exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad for admissions into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the participating state institutes for engineering and agriculture.
