Try NowNEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has decided to waive off the 25 percent weightage for intermediate marks for the calculation of TS EAMCET 2022 ranks. As per the TS EAMCET 2022 eligibility criteria released in the brochure, the Telangana EAMCET 2022 rank list will be prepared purely on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.

The official notice read, ‘ The TS EAMCET 2022 ranks will be allotted purely based on the performance (normalized marks) in the TS EAMCET-2022 examination and the 25% weightage for Intermediate marks in the calculation of TS EAMCET-2022 ranks has been waived off as a special case for the academic year 2022-23 similar to the TS EAMCET-2021.’

The decision to relax the TS EAMCET 2022 eligibility criteria has been taken considering the ongoing COVID-19 situation in the country. Due to the same reason, the authorities had provided the same provision to students last year as well.
Recently, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad started the TS EAMCET application form filling process. The link to fill the JNTUH TS EAMCET 2022 application form is available at the Telangana EAMCET official website - eamcet.tsche.ac.in. Students wiling to apply for the participating institutions in Telangana can fill out the TS EAMCET 2022 registration form till May 28 (without paying a late fee).
The TS EAMCET 2022 exam will be conducted as a computer based test from July 18, 19, and 20 for engineering courses. Students who will qualify for the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. The list of institutions for allotment of candidates with intake in each discipline and category, as per reservations through the TS EAMCET 2022 exam has been released in the EAMCET brochure.
