TS EAPCET 2024 shift 1 concludes, engineering exam on May 9, 10, 11

NEW DELHI: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) is conducting the TS EAPCET 2024 (formerly known as EAMCET) for admission into engineering colleges in Telangana on May 9, 10 and 11. The shift 1, which started at 9 am, concluded at 12 am. The afternoon shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Students appearing for the TS EAPCET 2024 will have to bring the admit card, along with a passport-size and a government identity card such as Aadhar card, voter’s card, passport, driver’s licence and others. Students will have to arrive at the exam centre at least an hour before the scheduled time.

Students will not be allowed to carry electronic devices, mobile phones, study materials, or any unauthorised items to the TS EAMCET 2024 exam venue . The question paper will be displayed on screen during the computer-based test (CBT) in two options – bilingual in English and Telugu or English and Urdu. If there is a discrepancy due to ambiguity in translation, then the English version of the question shall be treated as final.

The question paper will consist of 160 questions (multiple-choice type) in three different sections. Candidates are required to answer all the questions and there will be no negative mark for incorrect answers. They will be allowed to shuffle between sections and questions anytime during the examination.

Candidates will have to get at least 25% marks to qualify the maximum marks for consideration for ranking. However, for candidates belonging to SC and ST, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed.
