TS ECET result 2022 declared at ecet.tsche.ac.in; Know tie breaking rule

NEW DELHI: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has declared the TS ECET result 2022 today, August 12. The Telangana education minister, Sabitha Reddy, through a press conference declared the result of TS ECET 2022. The authorities have announced that out of 24,000 total candidates who applied, 22,000 students had attended the exam. A total of 19954 students passed the Telangana ECET exam. The overall passing percentage of TS ECET 2022 was 90.69 percent with male (90.55 percent) and female (90.30 female) students respectively.

TS ECET 2022 tie-breaking rule

The authorities will follow the below process to break a tie in Telangana ECET result 2022:

• Firstly, candidates with higher scores in the engineering subject will be given higher marks.

• If a tie still exists, candidates with higher scores in Mathematics will be allotted higher marks.

• If a tie still persists, applicants with higher scores in Physics will be granted higher marks.

If a tie still persists and candidates have the same marks in all four subjects, then the age will be taken into account during admission time. Candidates who are older will be given priority. The TS ECET result 2022 is available in the form of a rank card. Candidates have to score a minimum of 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects to obtain a rank.
