TS EdCET 2024 results expected today at edcet.tsche.ac.in; know qualifying marks

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) 2024 is expected to be out today, June 11. According to local reports, the institute will announce the TS EdCET 2024 result at 3:30 pm.
Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam will be able to download the TS EdCET 2024 result through the official website, edcet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the TS EdCET 2024 result. The institute will issue the TS EdCET 2024 rank card along with the result.
The TS EDCET rank card 2024 carries details such as the candidate's name, hall ticket number, registration number, parent’s name, marks scored, rank secured, and the candidate's photograph, ensuring accurate identification and transparency in the examination process.
The institute will prepare a merit list based on the marks scored by the candidates in the TS EDCET 2024 entrance exam. Candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks will be allowed to register for the TS EDCET 2024 counselling. The counselling process will be conducted in 2 to 3 rounds and that seat allotment will be done through this process.
The TS EdCET 2024 exam was conducted on May 23, 2024, in two sessions: the first session was held from 10 am to 12 pm and the second session from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The TS EdCET exam is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) to offer admissions to candidates for two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) courses at Colleges of Education in the state of Telangana.

TS EDCET 2024 Qualifying marks
Candidates can check the qualifying marks for TS EdCET 2024 given below.

The minimum qualifying marks in the entrance test for all candidates (except SC/ST) shall be 25% of the aggregate marks, which is rounded off to 38 marks.

There shall be no minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) categories for ranking purposes.

However, SC, ST candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks of 25% (rounded off to 38 marks) in EdCET to claim a seat under the NCC, sports and games, physically handicapped, children of armed personnel quota.
