TS EdCET 2026 registration starts; exam on May 12

Kakatiya University: Candidates can apply for TS EdCET 2026 on the official website, edcet.tgche.ac.in, by April 15. BEd entrance exam will be held in two shifts.
Kakatiya University Warangal, has started accepting applications for Telangana Education Common Entrance Test (TG EdCET 2026). The TS EdCET 2026 exam will be held on May 12. Candidates can apply for the BEd entrance exam on the official website, edcet.tgche.ac.in, by April 15 without a late fee.
Kakatiya University conducts TS EdCET for admission into the two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme in the Telangana colleges for the academic year 2026-2027.
TS EdCET 2026 exam will be held in two sessions, first from 10 am to 12 pm, second from 2 pm to 4 pm. TS EdCET 2026 results will be declared in the form of a scorecard.
Candidates will have to use their login ID and password details to download their TS EdCET scorecard 2026.

TS EdCET Exam Pattern 2026
The TS EdCET exam duration is two hours. MCQs will be given 4 alternatives and each question will carry one mark. The five subjects listed below will have each section in the paper.

TS EdCET application fee 2026 is Rs 750, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe, (SC), and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates have to pay Rs 550.
