TS ICET 2020 Day 1 Slot 2 Exam Analysis - Math questions were time consuming

NEW DELHI - Kakatiya University conducted the Telangana State Integrated Common Entry Test in the second slot and according to the TS ICET 2020 exam analysis for the second slot, most of the candidates found the mathematics questions as time-consuming. The overall difficulty level of TS ICET 2020 was considered to be moderately difficult.

Analytical Ability

Most of the questions in this section of the TS ICET 2020 exam were related to Numbers and Plane Geometry-Measuring. There have been questions on such two topics. Other questions were Averages, Ratio, CI, Time & Distance, Percentages and Trigonometry. Difficulty in the Data Sufficiency area was easy. The calculations were lengthy and candidates were

This section also had two sets of description data based on a table and pie chart. The questions followed each set. Both sets and questions were simple, and the calculation was not intensive.

There were questions on Time & Distance, Functions and Numbers. There were questions on the basis of series and analogies – on series and on analogies. There were peculiar questions too.

Mathematical Ability

This section of the paper was the hardest. While questions about Arithmetic Ability were on easier lines, questions about Algebraic & Geometric Ability were challenging. Although a few questions were formula-based, many of them required conceptual clarification and implementation.

Communication Ability

The section contained a mix of questions from topics such as Vocabulary, Statement / Conversation, Grammar and Reading Comprehension. There were vocabulary questions about Synonyms, which were mild to difficult in nature. Fill in the blanks questions were on the simple sides.

There were seven questions on the Statement / Conversation of moderate to extreme difficulty. Active-passive communication questions were difficult. In total, there were three RC passages containing questions. Overall, the problems were of simple to moderate complexity.
