NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) conducted mathematics Paper-IA, botany paper-I, political science paper-I for IPE Class 11 public exam 2025 today for over 5 lakh students. Five students were caught engaging in malpractices during the TS Inter 1st year exam 2025.

A total of 5,53,423 students registered for the Telangana Board Class 11 public exam 2025, of which 5,29,64 sat for the exam today. The state board said that 23,774 students were absent today.

The board tightened the security by appointing flying and sitting squads, and 1,500 examination personnel to curb use of unfair means and cheating cases during the TS Intermediate exam.

On day 3, a total of 5 students - 3 from Nalgonda, and one each from Karimnagar and Nizamabad - were caught engaging in malpractice during the board exam.

“Observers were sent to Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda Kamareddy Hyderabad and Medchal Districts from Board to the Examination centers and they reported that the Examinations had conducted smoothly and peacefully, without any untoward incidents,” secretary of the TSBIE said.

On Monday, the board announced that it will award full marks to all Class 12 students who attempted question number 7 in the TS Inter 2nd year English paper. The decision was taken after some students flagged "inaccuracies" in the pie chart question.
