TS Inter 1st year board exams 2026: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) concluded the TS Intermediate 1st Year Physics Paper-I and Economics Paper-I examinations today, March 9. The exams were held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm across designated centres in the state.
Both physics and economics papers consisted long answer questions, short answer questions, and very short answer questions, covering topics from across the syllabus.
For the TS Inter 1st year exams 2026 today, out of 5,35,804 registered candidates, 5,16,740 students were present, and 19,064 were absent, resulting in a 96.44% attendance. As per the report, a total of 4 malpractice cases were reported today: 1 in Warangal, 1 in Khammam, 1 in Yadadri, and 3 in Peddaplli.
Students were required to report to their examination centres by 8:30 am and were given 15 minutes before the exam to fill in the OMR sheet details. The board had instructed candidates to carry their hall ticket and school ID card for verification. Entry to the examination halls was closed once the exam began at 9:00 am.
For the TS Inter 1st Year exams 2026, around 4.89 lakh (4,89,126) students registered for the examinations. The TS Inter examination will take place at 1,495 exam centres across the state, including 404 government junior colleges, 221 government sector junior colleges, 863 private junior colleges, and seven schools.
TS Inter 2026 Question Paper Analysis
Questions in the TS Inter 1st Year Physics Paper-1 2026 were asked from chapters including Physical World, Units and Measurements, Motion in a Plane, Laws of Motion, Work, Power and Energy, System of Particles and Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Mechanical Properties of Solids, Oscillations, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory, and Thermal Properties of Matter.
In Economics questions were asked from chapters including Introduction to Economics, Consumer Behaviour, Demand Analysis, Production and Costs (Law of Variable Proportions and Economies of Scale), Market Structures (Monopoly and Perfect Competition), National Income, Public Finance, Money and Banking, and the Relationship between Statistics and Economics.
