Download EBookNEW DELHI: Osmania University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will conduct the TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET exam 2024 on June 3. The TS LAWCET 2024 application process will begin from March 1 on the official website, lawcet.tsche.ac.in.
The council has published the detailed notification for admission into 3-year and 5-year law courses and TS PG Law Common Entrance Test (TSPGLCET-2024) for LLM courses. The exam will be held in two sessions - session 1 for TS LAWCET 3-year course from 10:30 am to 12 noon and session 2 for TS LAWCET 5-year and TS PGLCET from 2.30 am to 4 pm.
The general category candidates will have to pay Rs 900 for TS LAWCET exam 2024 and SC, ST, PH category candidates will have to pay Rs 600. On the other hand, those applying for TS PGLCET 2024 will have to deposit Rs 1,100 and reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 900. The TS LAWCET and PGLCET 2024 test will be held at 21 online test centres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
TS LAWCET, PGLCET 2024 eligibility
Candidates interested in applying for law courses offered by the institutes in the state can check the eligibility criteria given below.
TS LAWCET 3-year LLB - Any graduate degree with a recognized university or its equivalent. General category candidates should have obtained 45% minimum marks in qualifying examination, OBC candidates should have scored 42% and SC, ST should have qualified with 40% marks. Moreover, they should clear the entrance test with 35% ie. 42 marks out of a total of 120 marks.
TS LAWCET-2024 5-year LLB - Two year intermediate examination or equivalent exams by the recognised board. The minimum marks in the qualifying examination for all categories will be the same as the 3-year LLB criteria.
TS PGLCET 2024 - Two-years LLM candidates holding LLB degree will be eligible to apply. They should also obtain 25%, 30 marks out of a total 120 marks, in the entrance test.
