NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will announce the round 1 seat allotment result for Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET) 2024 counselling today, September 30. Candidates who participated in the counselling process will be able to download the TS PGLCET 2024 round 1 seat allotment result through the official website, lawcet.tsche.ac.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the TS PGLCET 2024 seat allotment result for round 2.

Background wave

The TS PGLCET 2024 seat allotment result is influenced by multiple factors, including the candidate's rank in the entrance exam, their college and course preferences during counseling, the availability of seats in the chosen institutions, and the candidate's category (such as General, SC, ST, or OBC).

Shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted college for document verification and admission process between October 1 to 5. Candidates are required to bring both original and photocopies of the required documents.

TS PGLCET Seat Allotment result 2024: Options available

In the TS PGLCET 2024 counseling process, candidates have the option to select their preferences using different choices, such as freeze, float, and slide options. Here's what each option generally means:

  1. Freeze: This option is chosen when a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not wish to participate in further rounds of counselling. By choosing freeze, the candidate confirms the seat and agrees to take admission in the allotted college and course.

  2. Float: By choosing the float option, the candidate accepts the allotted seat but is open to upgrading to a better option in the next round of counselling. This means the candidate will retain the current seat unless a higher preference is allotted in subsequent rounds.

  3. Slide: The slide option allows candidates to accept the allotted seat but seek an upgrade within the same college for a different course. If a seat becomes available in a preferred course within the same institution in later rounds, the candidate may be shifted to that course.

These options allow flexibility for candidates during the counseling process, helping candidates either finalise or improve their allotment based on preferences.
