UCEED 2021: Know all about time management tips

NEW DELHI: Test-takers sometimes faced the problem of missing out on questions which they could have solved due to the limited time. Missing out a question because of the limited time may affect the performance in UCEED 2021. A total of 68 questions will be asked from UCEED part A and only one question from part B. Students will get a total of 3 hours to complete the exam. With the limited time, missing out the questions to attempt is a common problem faced by every student. To avoid such repercussions, candidates must improve their speed and time management skill.

Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2021 part A consists of three sections - numerical answer type (NAT), multiple select questions (MSQ) and multiple-choice questions (MCQ). Each section is equally important to score good marks. Candidates must maintain a timeframe for each section and question.

Make a timeframe for each question

A total of 69 questions will be asked and test-takers have to complete the exam in 180 minutes. So with limited time in hand, candidates must be quick to solve each question accurately. Test-takers must solve each question in approximately 2 minutes so that they have enough time in their hand to review the answer or to re-check and answer questions which are not answered.

Focus on picture-type questions

In UCEED 2021, test-takers will come across many time-consuming questions such as aptitude questions and puzzles. But there are picture-based questions which can be attempted quickly. Those picture-based questions are easy to solve quickly. Therefore, first, try to attempt the picture type question as it is easier to solve it may boost your confidence.

Stay Calm

It is imperative to answer each question accurately. Most candidates often get pressurized while answering the question within a limited time. Panicking may end up hindering the performance in UCEED 2021. So, it is important to stay calm and have faith in your knowledge. Do not ponder your time in one question. If you are unable to solve one question then immediately proceed to another question.

Review the answer

In UCEED 2021, keep some left time at hand to review your answer. Try to save approximately 15 to 20 minutes to recheck your answer. Rechecking your answer is important because sometimes the right response pop up in mind after you have answered the maximum of the questions.

Solve UCEED previous year questions to understand the actual time consumption in each section. Participating in the UCEED mock test will help the students to get a clear picture of the actual test. With UCEED 2021 is just a few days left, it is crucial to have a well-planned exam strategy.
