The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay has announced the UCEED 2022 seat allotment result for the second round today, May 10. Candidates can check the UCEED round 2 seat allotment list at the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. The candidates will be allotted the seats provisionally considering the candidate's All India Rank (AIR) in UCEED 2022, their category, and the choice of institutes.

The selected candidates will receive the provisional allotment letters in their registered email. The candidates will be then directed to an online payment system for remitting the seat acceptance fee. The seat acceptance fee is Rs. 60,000 for the candidates belonging to the category of GEN/ EWS/ OBC-NCL. The candidates belonging to the category of SC/ ST/ PWD will make the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 15,000.

The selected candidates must remit the seat acceptance or decline the admission fee before the given deadline to avoid cancellation of the application.

Candidates who have been allotted their first choice of the institute can choose either to ACCEPT (‘freeze’) or DECLINE the same.

Similarly, the candidates who have been allotted their second or third choice of the institute also have the choice of either selecting the ACCEPT (‘freeze’) or ACCEPT WITH THE OPTION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR UPWARD MOVEMENT (‘float’) the choice for the upcoming rounds.

Candidates who opt for "Freeze" will not be able to participate in any further rounds.

Candidates who have chosen the option of "Float", suggest that they will accept the admission offered to an institute that has been listed in their higher preference. Otherwise, the candidate will be continuing with their currently accepted institute. Such candidates will be considered in the subsequent rounds of admission. These candidates will also have no requirement to pay the acceptance fee again.

The seat acceptance fee paid by the candidates will be adjusted at the admission time with the institute fee.

Candidates who paid the seat acceptance fee and will then opt to withdraw from the UCEED 2022 counselling can have a claim to get a refund. An amount of Rs 3000 will be deducted from that fees as processing charges and the rest will be refunded to the candidate. The claim for refund will be entertained and processed by the authorities till the third round only. No such claim will be entertained after the completion of the third round.

No withdrawal is allowed after the declaration of the UCEED 2022 seat allotment third round.
