UCEED 2023 result tomorrow; rank list, tie-breaking rule

NEW DELHI: The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2023 result will be declared tomorrow, March 9. UCEED 2023 results will be available on the official website -- uceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates will have to use their user login and password created during the registration process to view the UCEED results.

UCEED 2023 was held on January 22. UCEED was held for two parts -- Part A and Part B. While Part A was objective and computer-based, Part B was descriptive and offline.

Although the UCEED 2023 result will be announced tomorrow, candidates will, however, be able to download their score card from March 11 to June 13, 2023 from the uceed.iitb.ac.in website.

All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank or an all India rank. All shortlisted candidates are considered as qualified candidates in UCEED 2023.

UCEED 2023 rank list

1. Rank list will be prepared based on the total marks (Part-A marks and Part-B marks combined) in UCEED 2023.

2. If the total marks scored by two or more candidates are same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks:

i. Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part-B.

ii. If the criterion given in (i) does not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.

iii. If the criteria (i) and (ii) do not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.

iv. If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned same rank.

These are the steps to download UCEED 2023 result

• Visit the official website -- uceed.iitb.ac.in

• On the ‘Portal’ tab, click on ‘UCEED 2023 result’

• On the next window, insert credentials -- login id and password

• Download the UCEED 2023 result

The mean and standard deviation of the UCEED 2023 Part A exam have already been announced on February 9. The mean and standard deviation for Part A of UCEED 2023 are 57.63 and 24.52, respectively.
