UCEED round 2 seat allotment result 2025 out uceed.iitb.ac.in; pay acceptance fees by May 27

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the seat allotment result for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2025 round 2 today, May 19. Candidates who participated in the second round of UCEED 2025 counselling can check the seat allotment result by visiting the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in.

The institute has provisionally allotted seats based on the applicant’s All India Rank (AIR) in UCEED 2025, category, and choice of institutes. Candidates allotted a seat in the UCEED 2025 round 2 counselling will have to pay the seat acceptance fee by May 27.

After payment of the seat acceptance fee, candidates can download the provisional seat allotment letter from their login on the official portal. Candidates who want to withdraw their allotted seat or exit the UCEED seat allocation process can do so between May 28 and June 9, 2025.

UCEED Round 2 Counselling 2025: Seat allotment fee

Candidates from the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backwards Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) categories are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 60,000. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories will have to pay Rs 15,000 as the seat acceptance fee.

As per the official notice, all candidates who pay the seat acceptance fee in rounds 1, 2 can withdraw their admission by the withdrawal deadline of round 2 to claim a refund. Withdrawals will be allowed only within the specified schedule.

The refund amount will be Rs 55,000 for general, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, and Rs 10,000 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, after deducting Rs 5,000 as seat cancellation and processing charges.
