UGC NET 2025 correction form opens; edits allowed in four details till November 12

NTA allows candidates to correct date of birth, category, and parents’ name in the UGC NET application form 2025 through the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2025) today. Candidates will be allowed to make corrections in four details in the UGC NET application form through the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The UGC NET December exam will be conducted from December 31 to January 7 in computer-based test (CBT) mode across the country. As per the schedule, candidates will be able to edit details in their application form between November 10 to 12.
“No corrections will be accepted after 12 November 2025 (11:50 P.M.) under any circumstances. The additional fee (if applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI only,” the NTA said.
UGC NET Dec 2025 exam is held to determine the eligibility for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and PhD admission only.
After the edit window is closed, the NTA will issue the UGC NET exam city intimation slip at least 10 days before the exam, on December 21. The UGC NET admit card 2025 will be issued after the city slip, at least four days before the exam.

“This facility is extended only once to avoid any hardship to the candidates. Therefore, candidates are advised to make corrections carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be provided,” the NTA said.
