UGC NET admit card 2024 by tonight: Jagadesh Kumar

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the UGC NET admit card 2024 by tonight, informed UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar via social media. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 admit card will be released on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. UGC NET admit card 2024 live updates.

“NTA plans to issue UGC-NET admit cards by tonight. Please check at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in Wishing the best to all the candidates who are going to take UGC-NET on 18 June 2024,” said UGC chief in a post on X.

Candidates will need their login credentials such as application number to download the admit card of UGC NET June 2024. The admit card will mention the address of the exam centre allotted to the applicants. It is mandatory for students to carry the hall ticket to the exam centre on the day of examination. UGC NET June 2024 will be conducted on June 18. The exam will be conducted for a total of 83 subjects in OMR-based mode.

UGC NET 2024 scores will be used to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for admission to PhD programmes in universities and colleges.

The University Grants Commission decided to allow PhD admissions through NET starting from the upcoming academic year 2024-25. Many universities such as Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) have announced that they will accept NET scores for PhD admissions offered at their campuses.
