UGC NET exam city intimation slip 2024 has been made available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The NTA will conduct the exam from January 3 to January 16.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to issue the admit card for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for December 2024 session two days before the exam date. Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET exam city slip 2024 from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Analyzing the past trends, the UGC NET admit card 2024 is likely to be released on December 31 or January 1, 2025. As per the UGC NET exam date 2024 announced earlier, the eligibility test for junior research fellowship (JRF), assistant professor, and PhD admission will be conducted from January 3 to January 16.
Recently, the Tamil Nadu members of Parliament (MPs) have written to Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to postpone the UGC NET exams scheduled to take place during Pongal celebrations. MP Jothimani and DMK MP Kanimozhi opposed the decision to hold exams during Pongal, a continuous attack on the culture and cultural identities of Tamils.
The UGC NET city intimation slip 2024 is different from hall ticket and it contains advance information for the allotment of the city where the examination centre will be located.
The UGC NET hall ticket 2024 will have details of roll number, name of the candidate, date of birth, category, father’s name, gender, application number, reporting time, address of the exam centre and more.

- Enter UGC NET candidate login credentials and submit.
