UGC NET 2023: The answer key challenge window will close at 8 pm and fee payment window will close at 11:50 pm today.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the window to challenge the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) answer key 2023 today, July 8. Candidates can raise their objections against the provisional answer key of UGC NET 2023 exam on the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Candidates will have to pay a challenge fee of Rs 200 per question in order to submit their objections. Students can check the answer key along with recorded responses and question papers by logging in with their credentials. Candidates can make the payment up to 11:50 pm while the window to challenge the key will close at 8 pm.

“The payment of the processing fee may be made through (through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI Payment Modes till 08th July 2023 (upto 11.50 p.m.). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The Challenges will notbe accepted through any other mode,” NTA had said.
How to challenge UGC NET answer key June 2023?
- Visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the link “answer key challenge”
- Login with your application number and password or date of birth
- Click on “view/challenge answer key” and view the question paper
- Check the question IDs and answer given
- Click on option IDs given in the next four columns to challenge NTA’s option
- Click on ‘Save your claims’
- Upload the documents in support of your challenge
- Now, click on “save your claims and pay fee” and pay Rs 200
A panel of subject experts will verify the challenges made by the candidates and revise the answer if it is found to be correct. Candidates will not be informed about the acceptance or non-acceptance of the objections raised by them.
NTA will upload a final answer key thereafter. UGC NET results 2023 will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key. According to the UGC chief M Jagadesh Kumar, UGC NET June 2023 result will be declared in the second week of August.
UGC NET June 2023 was conducted in two phases with the first phase from June 13 to 17 and second from June 19 to 22. The exams were conducted for a total of 83 subjects for over 6 lakh candidates.
