UGC NET Application Form 2021 for June session released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET application form 2021 for the June session in online mode on the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The registration for UGC NET June session was delayed due to the postponement of the NET December session 2020.

To regularise the UGC NET examination cycles, the NTA has decided to merge both the December 2020 and June 2021 sessions, the official notice said.

Eligible candidates can apply through the UGC NET official website till September 5, 2021 (11:50 PM). To complete the UGC NET 2021 application procedure, candidates need to pay the UGC NET application fee as per their category.

The application form of UGC NET for the December 2020 cycle was available from February 2, 2021, to March 3, 2021. However, the NET exam 2021 for December 2020 cycle was postponed due to COVID-19. The candidates who have registered for UGC NET December 2020 cycle but have not been able to complete the application process, can also visit the official website of UGC NET to complete and submit their UGC NET application form 2021.

How to fill the UGC NET application form 2021

The UGC NET application form for June session 2021 is available in online mode. Check steps to apply online for UGC NET June 2021.

• Visit the official website of UGC NET - ugcnet.nta.nic.in

• Click on the link 'UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 Cycles’ available on the bottom of the homepage.

• On the next page, click on the 'UGC NET' new registration tab

• Read the instructions and download the UGC NET information bulletin.

• Click on the proceed tab

• Enter the personal, contact details and choose password and security pin to complete the UGC NET registration process

• After successful UGC NET 2021 registration, candidates will get the UGC NET ID and password.

• Login again using the UGC NET 2021 ID and password and then fill in all the information to complete the UGC NET 2021 application

• Upload the required documents as per the specifications

• Pay the application fee for UGC NET 2021 application form

• Applicants will get the confirmation slip after fee payment.

• Download and take a printout of the confirmation slip and UGC NET application form 2021 for further use.

According to the UGC NET dates 2021, the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycle will be conducted together from October 6. NTA has also revised the age limit for UGC NET only for the June 2021 cycle. Now, the maximum age limit for JRF is 31 years and no upper age limit for the Assistant Professors.
