UGC NET December 2022 scores to be used for POWERGRID’s HR trainees recruitment

POWERGRID will open the registration window for appointing HR trainees through UGC NET soon.
NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2022 score will be used for recruitment as HR trainees in POWERGRID. Candidates will have to appear in December 2022 session of UGC NET in labour welfare, personnel management, industrial relations, labour and social welfare or human resources management and score at least 35 per cent marks in both the papers taken together.
The POWERGRID will also provide relaxations of at least 35 per cent for candidates belonging to the reserved categories wherever vacancy is reserved.
POWERGRID will open the registration window for appointing HR trainees through UGC NET at powergrid.in/job-opportunities. The online application window, a statement on the POWERGRID website said, will open after the issue of UGC NET admit cards as candidates will be required to provide their UGC NET December 2022 roll number details while applying for POWERGRID.
POWERGRID Selection Process
The POWERGRID selection process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in UGC NET in labour welfare, personnel management, industrial relations, labour and social welfare or human resources management, group discussion, behavioral assessment and personal interview round.
While marks obtained in UGC NET December 2022 will comprise of 85 per cent weightage, it is three per cent and 12 per cent for group discussion and personal interview rounds respectively.
If the candidate is called for group discussion and interview, their identity would be verified with UGC NET December 2022 admit card and UGC NET score card.
Candidates will have to obtain information about their status through their candidate login at the POWERGRID Online Application System. Shortlisted candidates shall be able to download their interview call letter and other relevant documents through the candidate login. Candidates shortlisted for the group discussion, behavioural assessment and interview will be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter. Candidates must qualify in the personal interview in order to be considered for empanelment.
