Assam Board Class 11 Exam 2025: No papers for schools under probe

The council will adopt the following steps to complete the Assam board HS first year exams 2025.

  • The Assam Class 11 exam is a school-level test. For the past eight years, schools conducted it independently, leading to inconsistencies in question standards and topics. To address this, the board has been supplying question papers to ensure uniformity and familiarise students with the HS final exam pattern. However, it continues to be held like a regular school exam without strict guidelines.
  • Institutions or students who want to assess their performance in the remaining subjects may collect question papers from their respective lead colleges for study and practice. However, institutions under investigation for breaking the seal of question paper packets before the scheduled date and time are not allowed to collect any packets from the lead college. "However, the institutions against whom investigation is going on for breaking of seal of Question Paper packets before scheduled date and time, are not allowed to collect any packets of Question Papers from the lead college for study and practice," the official notice said.
  • For the Class 11 annual exam marksheets, institutions will be allowed to download them from the ASSEB Div.-II website, which will be notified later. Marks for subjects without exams must be based on unit tests, half-yearly exams, average marks from held subjects, or another suitable method. The uploading of marks must be completed by June 15, 2025.
