UGC NET December 2024 exam from tomorrow; shift timings, guidelines to follow

NEW DELHI: The The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2024 exam tomorrow, January 3, 2025.The UGC NET December 2024 session exam will conclude on January 16, 2025. The exam will be held in two shifts- the first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The examination authority has already issued the UGC NET 2024 December admit card. Candidates appearing for the eligibility test can download the UGC NET December 2024 admit card session through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the UGC NET December 2024 admit card.
UGC NET December 2024 exam pattern
Candidates can check the UGC NET 2024 December session exam pattern in the table given below-

UGC NET December 2024: Exam day guidelines
- Candidates need report at the exam centres two hours before the commencement of the examination so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before time.
- The registration desk will be closed 30 minutes prior to the examination.
- Candidates will not be given entry inside the examination centre other than the stipulated time mentioned in the admit card.
- Candidates are required to carry the UGC NET 2024 December session admit card to the examination centre. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their hall tickets.
- One passport-size photograph is required (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at centre during the examination
- Candidates must carry one of the authorised photo IDs aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, passport (with photograph) for verification purposes. The name on the photo identification must match the name as shown on the Admit Card.
- PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
