Candidates can access the UGC NET 2025 December session answer key for 85 subjects and evaluate their expected scores. Candidates were given time to object to the NTA UGC NET provisional answer key 2025 from January 14 to 17.
A total of 7,35,592 candidates appeared for the CBT University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET 2025) from December 31 to January 7 across various cities. NTA will prepare the UGC NET December 2025 result based on the final answer keys.
The testing agency holds the UGC NET 2025 exam twice a year to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship, or admission to PhD.

UGC NET 2025 passing marks
To pass the UGC NET exam 2025, candidates under the general category are required to secure atleast 40% marks in each of the two papers, while candidates belonging to the reserved categories must obtain at least 35% marks in each paper.
Candidates will be able to access their NTA UGC NET 2025 result using their application number and password details.
