The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 certificates for qualified candidates for JRF only, JRF and Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor and admission to PhD, and admission to PhD only categories. Candidates can download their UGC NET June 2026 certificates by visiting the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

To download the UGC NET certificate June 2026, candidates are required to use their login credentials - application number and password.
UGC NET June 2026 certificate categories
The e-certificates are available for the following qualification categories:
- JRF Only
- JRF + Assistant Professor
- Assistant Professor + Admission to PhD
- Admission to PhD Only
The UGC NET qualification categories determine whether a candidate is eligible for JRF, appointment as Assistant Professor and/or admission to a PhD programme. NTA states that candidates qualifying for Assistant Professor and PhD admission are not eligible for JRF, while candidates qualifying for PhD only are eligible for PhD admission but not JRF or Assistant Professor appointment.

How to download UGC NET June 2026 certificate
Candidates can follow these steps to access the June 2026 UGC NET certificate:
- Visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the UGC NET certificate link.
- Enter the required login credentials.
- Submit the details to access the UGC NET June certificate.
- Download and save the e-certificate for future use.
Candidates facing difficulty in downloading their UGC NET certificate can contact ecertificate@nta.ac.in, ugcnet@nta.ac.in and the NTA helpline number 011-40759000 for assistance.
UGC NET June 2026 result
NTA declared the UGC NET June 2026 results for 84 subjects on August 28, 2026. A total of 7,73,806 candidates registered for these subjects, while 6,07,151 candidates appeared for the examination.
Among those who appeared, 4,241 candidates qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor, 45,904 qualified for Assistant Professor and admission to PhD, and 97,434 qualified for PhD admission only.
The UGC NET results for English, Commerce and Sociology were announced separately on September 17. The re-examination was conducted on September 9 and 10.
