UGC NET results 2024 for 83 subjects will be declared shortly on ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The exam is held to determine the eligibility for assistant professor, JRF, and PhD admission.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC NET result date 2024 today. As per the latest update, the UGC NET results 2024 will be declared by tomorrow, October 18, through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Over 9 lakh candidates who appeared in the re-exam held between August 21 to September 5 will be able to download the scorecard using their application number and password. After much delay, the NTA announced the UGC NET result date today on its official X account. The UGC NET exam is conducted for 83 subjects to determine the eligibility for assistant professor as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges. The UGC NET score 2024 will also be used for offering admission into PhD programmes from this year.
The UGC NET June exam was cancelled and re-conducted in August- September. The re-exam was also cancelled in some centres due to technical glitches faced by candidates. Unlike last year, the NTA conducted the exam in OMR-based test mode, however, the re-exam was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

- Click on the ‘Declaration of UGC NET June results 2024’ on the homepage.
- The UGC NET result link 2024 will open on a new tab.
- Key in your UGC NET June application number, password, and security code as displayed.
- The UGC NET score card 2024 PDF will open.
- Check the qualifying status and other details provided on the score card.
