KCET Counselling 2025: KEA extends round 1 option entry deadline to July 22

KCET 2025 Counselling: The first round of seat allotment results is scheduled to be declared on July 28.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline to exercise the option entry process under the first round of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 counselling. As per the revised schedule, the KCET round 1 option entry window will now remain open until July 22.
Eligible candidates registered to participate in the KCET counselling 2025 can complete the option entry process through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates can revise and update the options multiple times before the deadline. The KCET option entry process began on July 8, and the initial deadline to complete it was July 18, 2025.
“In the interest of the candidates, the date for entry of options for the said courses has been extended up to 6.00 PM on 22-07-2025. Candidates who have not entered their preference/options can exercise the options in the order of priority,” the official notice said.

UGCET Counselling 2025: Mock allotment scheduled for July 21
Candidates applying for courses including engineering, veterinary medicine and animal husbandry, agricultural science, BSc nursing, BPT, BPO, dentistry, and allied health sciences can enter their choices on the KEA portal. The seat matrix released by the government, universities and departments has been published on the official website.
As per the initial schedule, the first mock allotment for KCET 2025 counselling is set to be released on July 21, with the window to modify, delete, or re-arrange web options open from July 21 to July 24. The first round of seat allotment results is scheduled to be declared on July 28. However, following the extension of the option entry deadline, KEA is expected to revise the mock allotment and subsequent event dates.
