UKPSC Recruitment 2024: Registration window closes today; eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) will close the registration window for Sub Inspector (SI), fire station officer and other posts, today, February 20. Eligible candidates can fill out the UKPSC application form 2024 by visiting the official website at psc.uk.gov.in.
The UKSPC recruitment drive 2024 aims to fill up a total of 222 vacancies of which 65 posts are reserved for SI in civil police, 43 posts for SI in intelligence, 89 posts for Gulnayak, and 25 posts for fire station officers. As per the official notice, candidates from all the categories are exempted from paying any application fee.
To be eligible for these posts, candidates age should be between 21 years to 38 years old as of July 1, 2024.
Candidates who are applying for SI and Gulnayak posts should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university. Candidates who are applying for fire station second officer should have a bachelor’s degree in science stream from any recognized university. Additionally, the candidates should have a six-month certificate in computer course.
According to the official notice, the UKPSC application form correction window will open after five working days. The correction window will be active for 10 days only. The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written exam, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Personal Interview (PI).
