University of Hong Kong offers 'full-ride scholarship' to CBSE Class 12 toppers 2025: Board

The scholarship will cover tuition, accommodation, and living expenses of CBSE top performers pursuing undergraduate (UG) programmes at the university, the board said in an official statement.
University of Hong Kong will provide “Full-Ride Scholarship” to the toppers of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 board exams 2025, as per the official statement by the board.
Students can apply for the various UG courses from Hong Kong University’s official website at admissions.hku.hk.
The scholarship will cover tuition, accommodation, and living expenses of CBSE top performers pursuing undergraduate (UG) programmes at the university.
Full-Ride Scholarship 2025: Eligibility
Students who have obtained the top positions in the CBSE Class 12 board exams are eligible to apply for the scholarships and UG courses at the Hong Kong University.
Notably, the university will provide access to students to more than 420 exchange partnerships in 49 countries, along with dual degree and collaborative programmes with Cambridge, UBC, Sciences Po, and many more, the official notice reads.
“Because of the quality education imparted by the affiliated schools and the performance of our students in STEM and other subjects, Higher Education Institutions abroad are extending several exemptions and support to the students,” it adds.
“CBSE is a National Board. Every year, its students are selected in all National/State Level Entrance Examinations for the admissions in Professional Colleges in a big number. These students perform exceedingly well not only in professional colleges but in their professional and social life too. With the implementation of New Education Policy - 2020, CBSE has emphasised more on competency based education and assessment,” the official statement reads.
