University of Hyderabad invites applications for PhD programmes

UoH Admissions 2024: Eligible aspirants can submit online applications for the PhD programmes at the websites acad.uohyd.ac.in and uohyd.ac.in before June 18.
NEW DELHI: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has invited applications for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes for the July 2024 session. Candidates will be selected through the UoH entrance exam. Interested candidates are required to apply online through the university's official website at acad.uohyd.ac.in or uohyd.ac.in.
UoH's PhD programmes offered by various schools, departments, and centres include translation studies in English language, health sciences (optometry and vision sciences), nanoscience and technology, and materials engineering. The intake for these programmes varies across categories such as general, SC, ST, OBC or EWS, and PH, providing a diverse opportunity for aspiring researchers.

The Hyderabad University has provided detailed information regarding the courses offered, eligibility criteria, prescribed fees, reservation policy, and prospectus for the 2024-25 academic year on its website. Candidates are advised to regularly check the university website for updates on the interview and counselling schedule, which will be notified separately.
The University of Hyderabad has also clarified that admissions into other programmes mentioned will be through the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) or Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET) 2024, with the schedule for admissions to be announced later.
