University of Hyderabad launches 2 online courses in learning Sanskrit, malaria

The University of Hyderabad-led online certificate courses include “Samsadhani Praveshikka: Learning Sanskrit Using Computational tools” and “Advanced Malariology: Biology of Parasitism and Drug Resistance.”
The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has launched two online certificate courses in Sanskrit and biology. The online certificate programmes, launched by J Anuradha, vice chancellor, will be offered by experts in their respective fields.
The University of Hyderabad -led online certificate programmes include “Samsadhani Praveshikka: Learning Sanskrit Using Computational tools” and “Advanced Malariology: Biology of Parasitism and Drug Resistance.”
Salman Adbul Moiz, director, Centre for Digital Learning, Training & Resources (CDLTR), University of Hyderabad, said: “The idea is to take UoH’s expertise to the world through online courses. We will soon be launching online programmes at both the UG and PG level .”
J Anuradha has also inaugurated an additional video recording studio at CDLTR.

University of Hyderabad to hold faculty development courses soon
“The university will soon conduct faculty development programmes in a sequential manner to enable all its faculty members to launch online courses,” she said.
The online certificate courses are offered through the CDLTR at the University of Hyderabad.
A total of 40 DTH educational channels were launched by the ministry of education, and professor Vasuki Belavadi announced that the education ministry has launched 40 DTH educational channels and urged faculty members to launch their courses on the platform.
“The SwayamPrabha courses are also available for free on YouTube for free,” he said.
Recently, the university also opened applications for admission to 17 UG and integrated PG programmes for the academic year 2026-27.
Candidates can apply for the UG and integrated PG admissions at the University of Hyderabad through the official website at acad.uohyd.ac.in by July 21.
The university will admit students on the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores.
