University of Sheffield UK announces scholarships for Indians in masters programmes

Study Abroad Scholarships: The International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025 fetches £2,000 for arts and humanities and £2,500 for STEM, health courses.
NEW DELHI : The University of Sheffield is offering the International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025 to Indian students enrolling in the master’s programme in September 2025. The scholarship award for arts, humanities, and social science courses is worth £2,000, and £2,500 for engineering, health, and science-related fields.
According to the Sheffield University statement, students must accept their admission offer from the University of Sheffield by 4 pm (UK time) on July 8, 2025, to be eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount for students having admission offers from the University.
Students who meet the eligibility criteria will be awarded the International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025 and no other application is required. The scholarship award will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.

International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025
Students can check the other terms and conditions for the University’s scholarship programme.

Students studying postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and postgraduate certificate (PGCert) courses are ineligible for the International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025.

The scholarship cannot be awarded to students who already have funding from any external sponsor, full or partial, except for loans, which must be paid back.

The scholarship cannot be deferred to a future year for admission to the University. The scholarship award stay cancelled by the authorities.

If you are opting to study for a two-year master's programme the scholarship will be available in the second year of your studies after the completion of the first year.

Students who have opted for full-time and part-time courses are only eligible. Those having distance learning programme are not eligible for application.

Students who have applied for MArch courses are also eligible.

These scholarships do not apply to any postgraduate courses where high clinical fee is applicable, but are not exclusive to the following courses including: DClinDent Orthodontics, MClinDent in Orthodontics, DClinDent Endodontics, MClinDent in Paediatric Dentistry, DClinDent Periodontics, MMedSci in Diagnostic Oral Pathology and DClinDent Prosthodontics
