UOW India opens applications for FinTech courses; classes to commence in November

UOW India's FinTech courses aim to prepare students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and practical experience in the field of financial technology.
NEW DELHI: The University of Wollongong (UOW India) is inviting applications for its Master of Financial Technology, Master of Financial Technology (Extension), and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology programs from today, July 3. Interested candidates will be able to apply for UOW India Master of Financial Technology programs through teh official website, uow.edu.au/india.
The UOW India Master of Financial Technology classes will commence from November 2024. The FinTech programs offered at UOW India’s GIFT City campus will enable students to gain an in-depth understanding of the FinTech industry in a world-class campus setting.

The Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology is a concise program that delves into the latest advancements in FinTech, equipping students with a robust comprehension of technology's application across sectors like banking and insurance. Enhanced Learning Opportunities through Work-Integrated Programs
Students will have the chance to engage in Work-Integrated Learning programs, encompassing internships and classroom experiences where faculty incorporate industry challenges. This initiative enables students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world business scenarios. “We are excited to open FinTech applications to students as we get closer to the opening of our campus in GIFT City, India's leading global financial and technology hub,” Kalyani said.
“When the GIFT City campus opens in July this year, UOW India will be the 3rd highest ranked university in India and will be in the top 1 per cent universities in the world, ranking equal 167th in the latest QS World Rankings”, Kalyani added.
