UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment: Counselling begins, Check steps to register @atrexam.upsdc.gov.in

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Government has begun the counselling process for 31, 277 recruitments for the post of Assistant Teachers in the schools in the state from today. The counselling process will take place over two days that is on October 14 and 15 for the 31,277 assistant teachers out of the 69,000. The authorities will issue the appointment letter to the selected candidates on October 16. Candidates will have to visit the official website which is atrexam.upsdc.gov.in to know all the details about the counselling process and how they need to register for the same.

Know how to register for UP assistant Teachers Counselling
Step 1 - First visit on the official website of UP ASSISTANT TEACHER RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION
Step 2 - Now click on Step 2 of the main page of the website to begin the registration process for counselling
Step 3 - Enter the UPTET exam roll number, date of birth and mobile number to receive the OTP
Step 4 - Now login and fill all the required information. Candidates must remember that need to fill the information correctly as they will not be allowed to change it
Step 5 - If the candidate has worked as a “Shiksha Mitra” then he or she will have to mention all the details related to the educational institution in which they are working
Step 6 -Mention the marital status
Step 7 - Upload the details about valid photo identity proof
Step 8 - Enter the nationality details
Step 9 - Mention the details about the residence
Step 10 - From the list of 75 districts that are given, mention the number as per the preference
Step 11- Now check the box outside which is written “I agree “ and after that mention the captcha code which is visible on the screen
Step 12- Now click on the submit tab
Step 13 - Candidate will now have to use the UPTET roll number, date of birth, mobile number to get the OTP again and take the print out of the registration form
Step 14 - Candidates will be required to carry with them the UPTET 2020 counselling registration form and show it at the district office where he or she will take part in counselling
Documents to be carried at the time of UPTET Counselling
Candidates who will participate in the counselling of UPTET are required to carry with them the following documents:

2 sets of photocopies of all the academic documents and other certificates

4 passport size photographs
Also, those candidates who belong to the general category they would have to submit a demand draft of Rs 500 drawn in favour of Secretary, Uttar Pradesh for Basic Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh while those who are from the reserved category they will have to
About the UP Assistant Teachers Recruitment
Out of the total 31,277 selected candidates, 15,933 are general category candidates, 8,513 OBC, 6,615 SC and 216 are scheduled, tribe candidates. Earlier, the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath has ordered to expedite the recruitment process that has been in pipeline from some time now. After a Tussle in the High Court and Supreme Court over the cutoff marks of UPTET, the apex court had finally ordered to complete recruitment process for 31, 267 posts and carry the recruitment for the remaining vacancies in due course.
