UP Board Class 10, 12 exam 2022: Over 51 lakh student to appear, says report

Over 51 lakh students are expected to appear for UP board 10th, 12th board exams 2022. Including 14,000 private candidates for high school and 1.14 lakh private candidates for intermediate, as per reports.

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has commenced the UP board exam 2022 process for Class 10 and 12 students, in which almost 51.12 lakh students are expected to appear for the exam. It has around 27.70 lakh students registered for high school and 23.42 lakh students registered for intermediate exams, as reported by the Hindustan Times .
Along with this, 14,000 students have registered under private category for UP board Class 10 exams 2022. Whereas, 1.14 lakh students have registered for UP board Class 12 exams 2022 in private category. The UP board Class 10, 12 exams 2022 are expected to be conducted in March 2022.
As per the report, UP Board secretary Divyakant Shukla said, “The last date for online filling the examination forms of UP Board’s high school and intermediate examination-2022 was October 19. Similarly, the last date for advance registration of Class 9 and Class 11 for UP Board affiliated schools was also October 19.”
The state government is now expecting to release Class 10 and 12 examination centres fixation policy soon, according to which the exam centres would be allotted for UP board exam 2022.
The UP board official also said that 31.14 lakh students have registered in Class 9 and another 26.04 lakh have registered for Class 11 exams, the report added.
The principals of UP board schools will now undertake scrutiny of the forms of registered students as the prescribed checklist from October 20 to October 23, 2021.
If any details are filled incorrectly on the forms, it can be corrected by the schools from October 24 to October 30, 2021.
The schools have to submit a copy of the list of students bearing photographs of each student against their names as well as the treasury receipt of the fee submitted by the students to the UP board’s regional offices by November 9, 2021.
This year, the number of students registered for the UP board examination decreased by 5 lakh. In 2020, a total of 56,03,813 candidates had registered for the examination.
