As per official notification shared with the media, the results will be released after April 15, 2026. Exact date and time will be announced later by the board. Once released, the students will be able to check and download the same by following the below-mentioned steps.

To pass the board exams, students will have to score at least 33 percent marks in each subject and overall. Students who do not get minimum marks in more than two subjects, will have to appear for compartment examination.
The evaluation of nearly 3 crore answer sheets for over 52 lakh students commenced on March 18, 2026, and continued until April 1, 2026. Around 1.5 lakh teachers were engaged in evaluation across more than 250 evaluation centres. In just the first two days, over 21 lakh answer sheets were assessed. The schools were directed to upload Class 12 internal assessment marks by March 25, 2026.
Earlier this month, UPMSP issued a public advisory warning students and parents about potential cyber fraud attempts. Considering that such attempts have occurred in previous years, the board has cautioned students not to fall for misleading phone calls, messages, or emails.

To check the marksheets online, students can follow these steps.
- Visit the official UP Board websites at upresults.nic.in, upmsp.edu.in
- On homepage, click on the UP Board result 2026 of class 10 or 12
- On the redirected window, fill in credentials including roll number and captcha code
- Click on submit to view results
- Marksheet will open up on screen
- Go through the same and download it
- Take its printout for future references
Students should know that they will receive their original marksheets later from their respective schools or colleges. Therefore, they should stay in touch with the school for accurate updates on the marksheet distribution date and time.
