NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Board Class 10 and 12 exams 2021, which were postponed earlier till May 20, 2021, is expected to be rescheduled further. The postponement is likely to be announced in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases , as per reports.
“The decision on the examination dates is likely to be taken by the board soon,” Times Now News quoted UP deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma as saying.
It is found that the 17 officers out of 19 who handle the board exams tested positive for COVID-19. Now, the UP board is likely to make a decision on the postponement of the examination dates again. The decision will be based on the prevailing pandemic situation, the report added.
Earlier, the UP board Class 10 and 12 exams were scheduled to begin from May 8, 2021, which were postponed until May 20. The new dates of the UP Board exam 2021 will be announced as the situation normalizes.
A total of 29,94,312 students who registered for the UP Class 10 board exam and 26,09,501 students for Class 12 are now waiting for the board's decision.
