UP Board Paper Leak: UPMSP to derecognise school from where 12th papers were shared on WhatsApp
UP Board decided to terminate the recognition of Atar Singh Inter College and warned other schools of derecognition for breaching confidentiality.

NEW DELHI : The Uttar Pradesh board has decided to de-recognise Atar Singh Inter College, Rojhauli, Agra from where the question papers of mathematics and biology were sent on the Whatsapp group during UP Class 12 board exams 2024 held on February 29, board secretary Dibyakant Shukla informed. The decision was taken in the board meeting today following the incident of paper leak.
“The decision to de-recognise Shri Atar Singh Inter College, Rojauli, Agra, from where the question papers were sent on WhatsApp group during the examination, has also been taken in the board meeting on March 01, 2024. It is also made clear that in future, if any school tries to breach the confidentiality of the question papers, the recognition of that school will also be immediately terminated,” Shukla said in an official statement.
The board secretary also informed that the center administrator Rajendra Singh and another person have been arrested and sent to jail while the static magistrate is being interrogated. Police are taking action to arrest the main accused, Vinay Chaudhary, and others.

Taking cognizance of the ‘criminal’ act by the District School Inspector, Agra, a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against Chaudhary, school center administrator Rajendra Singh, additional center administrator Gambhir Singh, static magistrate Gajendra Singh and unknown on February 29 itself, the board secretary informed.
In the second shift of UP Board Intermediate exam 2024, Biology and mathematics papers were shared by the computer operator working at Atar singh Inter College on the WhatsApp group named 'All Principals Agra' at 3:11 pm.
The UP board denied the paper leak and explained that at that time, one hour and 141 minutes had passed since the commencement of the examination and all the candidates were taking the examination peacefully at their respective examination centres.
