UP NEET PG 2025 Counselling from November 6; Rs 40 lakh bond mandatory for govt seats

Download nowThe UP NEET PG 2025 counselling dates for round 1 admissions have been announced by the Director General Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh. Candidates with a valid NEET PG rank and completed compulsory internship will be allowed to apply for the UP NEET PG round 1 counselling from November 6.
The UP NEET PG counselling schedule for the first round has been announced for admission to state quota seats in postgraduate MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB courses in government and private medical colleges and institutions. The DME will host the UP NEET PG application form 2025 on the official website, upneet.gov.in.
Registrations for the first round of UP NEET PG counselling will be closed on November 10 and the merit list will also be released on the same day. The first round seat allotment result based on the choices filled by candidates will be published on November 17.
Candidates taking admission in government medical or dental colleges are required to serve a mandatory bond in the state for a period of two years. Failing to fulfill the bond will attract a penalty of Rs 40 lakh, as per the UP NEET PG bond policy.
UP NEET PG Counselling 2025: Eligibility
Qualifying NEET PG 2025 is just one of the criteria to be eligible for admission in UP medical colleges . Candidates seeking PG admission in medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh are required to meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Should have completed their one-year compulsory rotatory internship on or before July 31 for MD, MS, diploma, DNB courses.
- Should have passed MBBS course from a government or private medical colleges in UP to be eligible for government state quota seats and private seats.
- Those who have completed MBBS degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), AIIMS Raebareli, and AIIMS Gorakhpur are not eligible for admission under the government quota. They can apply for the private seats in the state.
- Candidates who have completed their UG degree from outside the state are also eligible only for private medical seats.
UP NEET PG counselling fee, security deposit
Candidates applying for the UP NEET PG counselling 2025 will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 3,000 for the first three rounds. All eligible candidates will be required to fill a fresh application form for the stray vacancy round by paying registration fee again.
Along with the application fee, candidates are required to pay a security deposit depending on the type of college opted for. Detailed fee structure is given below:
