UP NEET PG 2025 choice locking must for seat allotment; merit list tomorrow, counselling guidelines out

Use NowThe Director General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh will close registrations for the UP NEET PG 2025 round 1 counselling on November 10. The round 1 UP NEET PG merit list will be published tomorrow on the official website, upneet.gov.in.
While the UP NEET PG registration will close at 11 am, the fee payment portal will remain active till 2 pm. After the publication of UP NEET PG merit list, the officials will open the choice filling facility for a period of four days, from November 11 to 14.
Candidates should pay a registration fee of Rs 3,000 to participate in the first three rounds of UP NEET PG counselling . To take part in the stray vacancy round, candidates will have to re-register. The security deposit will not be adjusted under any circumstances against the tuition fee.
UP NEET PG 2025: Eligibility criteria
All candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG 2025) conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and are seeking admission in MD, MS, diploma courses in government and private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply for counselling.
As per the advisory issued by the state medical education board, only in-service candidates of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for state quota DNB courses. Their list of eligible candidates will be published by the director general on November 1 and 17. The official list has not been issued yet.
For state quota MD, MS courses, only those candidates working under the Provincial Medical and Health Services (PMHS) cadre and declared eligible for round 1 by the DME will be eligible for incentive marks.

UP NEET PG choice locking is mandatory
As per the UP NEET PG 2025 counselling guidelines, candidates must lock choices after online choice filling. If a candidate fails to lock choices, they will not be included in the seat allotment process, it informed.
The UP NEET PG choice filling will begin on November 11 and conclude on November 14 at 2 pm. Based on the choices locked by applicants, the UP NEET PG seat allotment result will be declared on November 17.
OBC and EWS candidates of Uttar Pradesh are informed that only certificates issued on or after April 1, 2025 will be considered valid.
