Amid the ongoing UP NEET PG counselling, the Uttar Pradesh government has approved annual tuition fees for six private medical colleges for the academic year 2025-26, setting a cap of up to Rs 25 lakh for clinical PG courses and Rs 10 lakh for non-clinical programmes.
As per the government order issued in January, several private colleges slashed annual fees for the postgraduate (PG) medical courses by Rs 25-50 lakh over a period of three years. At GS Medical College, Hapur, the approved annual fee stands at Rs 13.68 lakh for clinical and Rs 10.26 lakh for non-clinical courses.
KD Medical College, Mathura, and Narayana Medical College, Kanpur, will charge Rs 10.26 lakh per year for non-clinical streams and Saraswati Medical College, Unnao, has fixed Rs 13.68 lakh for pathology.
The final revised fee structure for six private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh is given below.

In addition to tuition fees, the state government has approved annual hostel charges ranging from Rs 2,02,225 to Rs 3,46,500 depending on room type. The total hostel fee for a period of three years will range between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10 lakh; the amount includes mess charges covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

A refundable one-time security deposit of Rs 5 lakh has been fixed covering hospital, library, laboratory, and other institutional security components.
The government has also capped miscellaneous charges at Rs 1,41,240 per year. This includes university registration, development fee, library fee, student association fee, gym and sports charges, admission fee, and exam fee. Private colleges have been barred from charging additional fees beyond the amount fixed by the fee regulatory committee.
"Students will be required to pay tuition fees annually, and under no circumstances will the tuition fee be paid in one lump sum in advance. The college is free to charge less than the fees specified above," the order stated.
The UP NEET PG round 3 seat allotment results 2025 were declared recently on the official website, upneet.gov.in. Students allotted seats in round 3 will be allowed to download the UP NEET PG round 3 allotment order until February 19.
