UP NEET UG 2025: MBBS at ESIC Varanasi to cost over Rs 5 lakh for state, AIQ; round 3 seat matrix revised

A total of 962 seats are available for round 3 UP NEET UG counselling 2025, of which, 821 are for the UR category. The choice-filling facility will be available till October 24 on upneet.gov.in.

Enrol NowThe Department of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, will conduct the UP NEET UG round 3 counselling for 962 MBBS and BDS seats, as per the revised seat matrix. It has also notified the MBBS fee structure 2025 at the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College Varanasi.
The UP NEET UG round 3 counselling merit list was revised recently to add 45 more candidates. A total of 34,556 candidates have been declared eligible to participate in the third round.
The schedule for the round was also revised multiple times due to addition of new MBBS seats approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). As per the re-revised dates, candidates will be allowed to submit their preferences till October 24.
The UP NEET UG round 3 seat allotment results will be declared on October 27 on the official website, upneet.gov.in.
UP NEET UG 2025: Round 3 seat matrix
There are a total of 962 seats available for round 3 UP NEET UG counselling 2025. Of which, the highest of 821 will be filled under unreserved (UR) category, 39 under backward caste (BC), 78 under SC, 12 each under ST and EWS categories.
MBBS seats approved by NMC as of October 17 have been added in government medical colleges in UP.

ESIC Medical College Varanasi: MBBS fees
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College Varanasi has fixed separate fees for IP quota and state/ All India Quota (AIQ) students.
For IP quota candidates, the annual MBBS tuition fee is Rs 24,000 and the total cost is approximately Rs 1.68 lakh over 4.5 years. For state and AIQ seats, the annual tuition fee is Rs 1 lakh, bringing the total course fee to over Rs 5 lakh.
