UP NEET UG Counselling 2023: Round 1 registration begins at upneet.gov.in; apply by July 28

UP NEET UG Counselling 2023: Round 1 merit list will be released on July 29 and seat allocation result on August 3 or 4.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, today started the registration process for the UP NEET UG Counselling 2023. The eligible candidates, seeking admission to the MBBS and BDS programmes in the medical and dental colleges of UP, can register online at the official website, upneet.gov.in. The counselling process will end at 11 AM on July 28.

The admission will be done on the basis of National Eligibilty-cum-Entrance Test, NEET UG 2023, scores. The candidates can submit the application as well as security fee till 5 PM on July 28. The students will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 and a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for state quota seats. Those applying for private medical and dental college will have to deposit Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh for MBBS and BDS seats respectively. Only those students who have submitted the security deposit will be allowed in the online choice filling process.
The merit list for the first round of UP NEET counselling process will be released on July 29. The online choice filling process for preferred institutes will begin at 11 AM on July 31 and end at 11 AM on August 3. The seat allotment list for the first round of UP NEET counselling process 2023 will be issued on August 3 or August 4.
UP NEET counselling process 2023: How to register
- Applicants can follow the steps given below to apply for the counselling process.
- Visit the official website, upneet.gov.in.
- Click on the registration link on the homepage.
- Generate login credentials by entering basic details.
- After logging in using the credentials generated, fill the application form.
- Add personal, academic details and upload required documents, and submit the application.
- Now, pay the application fee and security deposit.
- Download the confirmation page for future reference.
