NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has invited applications for direct recruitment for the posts of Computer Operator Grade-A in Uttar Pradesh Police through the official website, uppbpb.gov.in. The UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A recruitment 2023 is being held for 930 vacancies.
Students clearing the UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A recruitment exam 2023 will be in the pay band Rs 5200-20200. They will get grade pay of Rs 2400 under the pay matrix Rs 25,500-81,100 in the new pay scale.
The application has been invited for 381 posts of unreserved, 91 of EWS, 249 of OBC, 193 of SC and 16 of ST categories. The UPPRPB said, “the number of vacancies can be changed at any time before the examination and recruitment can be canceled at any time or at any stage of recruitment without assigning any reason.”
Eligibility criteria
Students appearing for the UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A recruitment 2023 should have passed Intermediate examination with physics and mathematics subjects from a recognised board. It is necessary to pass O Level examination in computer from the Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) or any other equivalent examination recognised the government. Students with Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering from the Council of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, or any recognised equivalent qualification by the government can also apply for the recruitment.

Age criteria
Candidates applying for the UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A recruitment 2023 should have attained the age of 18 years on July 1, 2023, and must not have attained the age of more than 28 years. The applicant should be born between July 1, 1995, and July 1, 2005. Candidates belonging to OBS, SC and ST categories will be given five years relaxation in the age criteria.
