UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 exam starts tomorrow; important guidelines

The UP Constable Recruitment 2024 exam will have 150 questions of two marks each in four sections.
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will conduct the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 exam on February 17 and 18. Candidates appearing for the exam can download the UP Constable Recruitment 2024 admit card using the registration number and date of birth on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.
The UP Police Constable exam will be held in two shifts – from 10 am to 12 pm in the morning and 3 pm to 5 pm in evening. The recruitment process is being held to fill a total of 60,244 male and female constable vacancies. The question paper will be divided into four sections – general knowledge, general Hindi, numerical and mental ability test, and intelligence and logical ability.
Applicants will have to attempt 150 questions in two hours. For each correct answer candidates will be awarded two marks while .5 marks will be deducted. Candidates can use only black or blue ballpoint pen to fill the OMR answer sheet and circle.

All the questions, except those in the general Hindi section, will be in Hindi and English. In case of any doubt or confusion, the English version will prevail. The question papers of each shift will be different and the process of normalisation of marks will be adopted.
In case a question is wrong or all the answer options of the question are not suitable, then it will be cancelled. Following the written exam, the candidates will have to go through document verification, physical standard test (PST) and interview.
