UP Police Recruitment 2024: Registration deadline extended to January 31

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has extended the online application form filling date for the recruitment of grade-A computer officer posts. Candidates can now apply for the UP Police computer officer posts till January 31, 2024 on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 930 posts of grade-A computer operators. The application form correction window will be open from February 1 to 2, 2024.

Candidates from all categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 400 to process their applications. As per the selection process, candidates will be selected based on their performance in a Main examination, Physical Endurance Test (PET), Pre-Medical Test (PMT) and physical interview.

UP Police Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for UP police recruitment 2024 are given below.

• Age Limit: Candidates should be between the ages of 18 years to 28 years, as of July 1, 2023. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed the Class 12 exam in physics and mathematics.

• Candidates should also have completed the O-level examination in computers from the Department of Electronics Accredited in Computer and Communication (DOEACC) or should have completed a diploma in computer engineering, information technology or electronics engineering from the council of technical education, Uttar Pradesh.

• Fill in personal and academic details.

• Submit the required documents and pay the application fee.

• Submit the registration form and take a printout for future reference.
