UP Police Recruitment 2025: Over 15.7 lakh candidates apply for 4,543 Sub-Inspector posts

The board received around 15,72,261 application forms and after modification and fee payment until September 15, a total of 15,75,760 candidates have applied for UP Police sub-inspector posts.
Over 15.7 lakh candidates have applied for the sub-inspector and equivalent positions in the UP Police department through the UPPRPB’s official website at uppbpb.gov.in, according to the official statement by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB).
The board received around 15,72,261 application forms and after modification and fee payment until September 15, a total of 15,75,760 candidates have applied for UP Police sub-inspector posts.
The UP Police will fill a total of 4,543 Sub-Inspector posts through the UP Police recruitment exam 2025.

The UP Police sub-inspector application link was active till September 11 and registered candidates were able to make changes to their application forms till September 15.
The board informed that the date of the written examination for the SI posts in the UP Police department will be announced four weeks in advance. The UP Police SI posts selection process includes a written exam, document verification round and a physical standard test (PST).
Candidates will be called for document verification and PST rounds on the basis of marks obtained in the written exam and total number of vacancies.
