UPCATET 2026 results out; Kavya Masih secures rank 1 in UG entrance exam

UPCATET Results 2026 : Banda Agricultural University has announced the Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET 2026) results today. Kavya Masih of Meerut secured first place for the undergraduate programme, Shivam Yadav for the postgraduate course, and Aman Singh of Mau for the PhD course.

UPCATET results 2026 were released today by the state agriculture minister Surya Pratap Shahi, in the presence of the vice chancellor SVS Raju of Banda Agricultural University at his office in the assembly.

On this occasion, the minister extended best wishes to all candidates for a successful future. He also congratulated the University’s VC and his entire team for conducting the examination efficiently, fairly and transparently, and for announcing the results on time.

UPCATET 2026 entrance examination was held on June 17 and 18 in 12 districts of the state. A total of 27 centres were set up for the undergraduate (UG) entrance examination held on June 17th, and a total of 18 centres were set up for the postgraduate (PG), PhD, and MBA entrance examinations held on June 18.

UPCATET 2026: 14,802 qualify

As per the UPCATET 2026 statistics, a total of 18,827 candidates applied for the examination, of whom 90%, or 16,349, appeared for the entrance exam. A total of 14,802 candidates qualified for the exam, of whom 73% are male and 27% are female candidates.

According to the official press release, the following students achieved top positions: At the undergraduate level, Kavya Masih of Kankarkheda, Meerut secured first position, Prachi Dwivedi of Kannauj secured second position, and Mohammad Kaif of Rampur secured third rank. At the postgraduate level, Shivam Yadav of Ballia secured rank 1 and Aastha Yadav of Unnao secured rank 2. At the PhD level, Aman Singh of Mau grabs first position, and Abhishek Gautam of Mathura gets second position.
