NEW DELHI: University of Petroleum and Energy studies (UPES), Dehradun, has introduced four-year integrated BBA-MBA programmes in the School of Business starting from the session 2021.
The university has started four new integrated BBA-MBA programmes in marketing management, finance management, human resources, and operations management. The programmes also provide specialisations and students have the option of choosing minor electives.
Each of the four-year integrated programmes has 20 seats. The students will learn through case studies, projects, workshops and masterclasses guided by industry experts.
BBA-MBA eligibility criteria
Candidates need to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Classes 10 and 12. Apart from that, there is no entrance test for the programmes. Students will be admitted through a personal interview.
“Whether you work in finance, technology, management, marketing, or manufacturing, the integrated MBA degree will open opportunities for greater career advancement, responsibility and increased financial reward,” said a statement by the school of business, UPES.
UPES has introduced these four-year integrated programmes due to the increasing demand for “skilled, talented, and knowledgeable MBA professionals”.
The programmes will provide students internships of three to six months to help them learn problem-solving skills and gain industry experience.
“With this four-year MBA program, students can also easily apply to leading schools and universities across the world to complete any additional super specialization degree,” further said the statement.
