NEW DELHI: University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) will close the UPESMET registration 2021 for the August session today. Candidates fulfilling the UPESMET eligibility criteria can apply at the official website, upes.ac.in. UPESMET 2021 exam date is August 14. Earlier, the university conducted UPESMET 2021 for the April, May, June, and July sessions in online mode.

UPES University conducts its own entrance exam, UPESMET , for admission to all its MBA programmes. The exam is of moderate difficulty level and has a time duration of two hours.

UPESMET 2021: Eligibility criteria

Candidates should have graduated in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognised university/ institute.

They should have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate.

Candidates in their final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible for UPESMET, provided they can present the passing certificate by the time of UPES admissions.

Candidates who have MAT, CAT , CMAT, XAT , NMAT by GMAC, and GMAT scores of either the same or previous year, are exempted from taking the UPESMET exam.
How to fill UPESMET application form 2021
For UPESMET 2021 registration, candidates can follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPESMET 2021, upes.ac.in.
Step 2: Register by providing the following details:

Name of the candidate

Date of birth of the candidate
-
Mobile number of the candidate
-
Course in which the candidate is interested
Step 3: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Step 4: After logging in, provide all the personal and academic details.
Step 5: Proceed to the application fee payment window
Step 6: Pay an application fee of Rs 1,350 via online mode.
Step 7: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
What after UPESMET exam 2021
Candidates who will qualify the UPESMET 2021 will have to appear for the interview, based on which final UPESMET result will be announced. The dates and venue of group discussion and personal interview (GD/ PI) rounds will be announced post the declaration of UPESMET exam results. Shortlisted candidates will receive official intimation of GD/PI through email. Candidates can also check their admission/shortlist status on the official website.
